AA's technology systems
- AA anounced a strategic relationship with ITIS holding plc for the supply of real time traffic flow information to the information service division in May.
- The delivery of this information will start in November 2002, and the data will be collected from across the strategic road network.
- AA's own 3600 patrol vehicles and form some 3000 other vechiles including Eddie Storbat Lorrie and National Express coaches. In this total this will amount to some 140 million location messages per year.
- AA sends around their trucks and Lorries to get the information about traffic.
